When I see a dog with a gleaming smile, it tells me the owners have done their homework and know about the importance of dog dental care. Sadly, this is one area that is often overlooked - though not intentionally I'm sure. Some well-meaning folks think "doggie" bad breath is natural and after a while their nose believes it too! The fact is, bad breath often precedes the start of something big.
